MathVerse is a maths learning app for students in Class 1 to 12. It has no
accounts and no sign-in. Your work — lessons read, questions answered, streaks,
XP, notes — is stored on your device only and is never uploaded.
The app sends anonymous usage statistics so we can see which features are
actually used. You can switch that off in Settings → Share anonymous usage.
There are no adverts in MathVerse, and the app does not request an advertising
identifier of any kind.
All of the following is saved in the app's private storage on your phone, and is
not transmitted anywhere:
Uninstalling the app deletes all of it. There is no cloud copy, so there is also
nothing for us to hand over, sell or lose.
The app uses Google Analytics for Firebase to record anonymous usage events.
The complete list of events the app sends is:
| Event | What it records |
|---|---|
studio_opened | Which bench of the 3D Studio was opened |
solid_stage | Which stage of a 3D solid was viewed |
plan_step | Which step of the daily plan was tapped |
quiz_finished | Quiz mode, number of questions, accuracy percentage |
exam_finished | Marks earned, total marks, percentage |
solver_used | Whether the solver understood the input, and the topic |
streak_repaired | That a streak was restored, and its length |
freeze_bought | That a streak freeze was bought |
report_shared | That a report card was shared |
reminders_toggled | That reminders were switched on or off |
What is deliberately not sent: your name, the text you type into the solver,
the answers you give, your notes, or the contents of any lesson. solver_used
records only *whether* your input was recognised — never the input itself. This
is so we can see what people want the solver to handle and it currently cannot.
Alongside these events, the Firebase SDK also collects standard technical
information for every app that uses it: an app-instance identifier, device model,
operating system version, app version, language, and an approximate location
(country or region) derived from the IP address. The app requests **no
advertising identifier** — that permission is explicitly removed from the app.
The app also detects your device timezone so a daily reminder arrives at the
right local hour. This is read on the device and used on the device.
Because MathVerse is distributed through Google Play, Google may provide the
install referrer — which listing or campaign led to the installation. This is a
standard part of Play distribution.
Settings → Share anonymous usage. Switching it off stops collection at the
SDK level, not merely at the point where events are sent, so nothing is queued
for later delivery. The rest of the app is unaffected: every lesson, quiz and
tool works exactly the same, offline.
MathVerse is intended for school students, including children under 13, and is
therefore treated as a child-directed app.
switched off
If you are a parent or guardian and want the analytics collection turned off,
switch off Share anonymous usage in Settings. If you believe we hold any
information about a child and want it removed, write to quantumlogicloom@gmail.com and we
will act on it.
The report card feature creates an image of your own progress and hands it to
your phone's share sheet. You choose whether to share it and with whom. The image
is created on your device; we never receive a copy.
| Permission | Why |
|---|---|
INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE | Sending anonymous analytics. No lesson, quiz or tool needs a network. |
POST_NOTIFICATIONS | Showing the daily reminder you asked for |
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED | So a scheduled reminder survives a restart |
WAKE_LOCK, VIBRATE | Delivering a scheduled notification |
MathVerse does not request access to your location, camera, microphone,
contacts, photos, files or call history.
Analytics is processed by Google as our service provider, under Google's own
privacy terms. Nothing is sold. Nothing is shared with advertisers or data
brokers. There are no other third parties.
Data on your device stays until you delete it or uninstall the app. Analytics
data is retained by Google Analytics for the retention window set on the
property, after which it is deleted automatically.
Because nothing is tied to an identity, there is no account to export or delete.
You can:
If this policy changes, the effective date above changes and the new version is
published at the same address. Material changes will be noted in the app's
release notes.
